Mark Clarin
I am a winemaker by trade and a guitarist by night. I really love the way wine constantly grows. It's like raising children except you repeat every year rather than every 18 or 15 or whatever the average age of a parent.
Whew!! ......
The cool thing is... I am a great great great grandparent of my PICAZO Vineyards project and a Great to the 28th power grandparent to making wine.
Which means I am getting older.
So my main thing is www.picazovineyards.com and we produce limited quantities of Merlot, Sauv Blanc and Cab for your quaffing pleasure. It is artisinal which works well with my other gig. Guitar-Vocals-Songwriting-Performing-Producing.
I have included some photos which probably mean not much to most but they mean something to me.
Mark started playing guitar at the age of 7 and practiced while his baby sister turned the pages. At age 12 he started tagging along with Dad and his "Bluegrass" buddies. It was there Mark learned when not to play. His Father is semi famous as the metronome like foot stomping banjo picker. Baby Sister went on to play piano, drums, bass, guitar and accordian. She also sings backup on "Too Many Choices".
Mark started playing professionally at age 14 in a band with no name. Through High School he played in the Jazz Ensemble as well as "The Cuteye Higgins Band" and " Southbound". Performing at parties and school dances.
As life has gone by rapidly, he has performed on 3 Continents, done session work and continues to perform live in the flesh with the Bacchus Brothers among others.
We continue to sell our CD's overseas as well as in the States. If you haven't reserved your copy, you might want to take advantage since they are available here on this website.
